Returning patrollers:
Thanks for your dedication and perseverance in getting through this year’s refreshers. There were changes in how we register, how they were scheduled, and what they contained. Overall, I think the changes were good.
You’ll be returning to a building that has a fresh coat of paint, and a top hut that has a shored up deck. Thanks to those individuals who stepped up to do this work.
Assuming we’ll have snow, this will be the first full year that Hyak will be open from the start of the season in three years. Operationally, we will not be changing much from how we ran last year. There has been some brush clearing and widening that occurred during the summer.
I’m looking forward to seeing all of you some Saturday soon at 8:00 AM, boots on.
